Does anyone have pro tips to get Telus to actually install fiber to the home when it's present in the alley? I can see the lines 20 feet from my window, and the building across the alley is hooked up. When I call Telus, they say it's not available, then they put in a ticket to ask the back office, and again it's "not available".

If I type my address in their online tool, it says 75 megabit as well. They cold-call me often and try to sell me 75 for more money than I pay for 150 cable. I always tell them to call me when there's fiber.

If I knew the tech would do fiber and not just show up to activate the copper, I might risk it, but switching internet is painful enough already.
