Do you post (about) your writing outside of writing sites?
(self.fanfiction)
A new fanfiction corner. The more we interact and support each other, the more thriving the community can become! A place for fanfic: written or drawn, creating or consuming. [Fandom icon by @borzoiteeth@kbin.social]
Back when I was still on tumblr I saw tons of fan content, but it was never fics, which is why I'm wondering if some sites are just biased toward some types of content regardless of the number of fans on them.
Re: twitter: relatable x')
I don't know why I didn't think of it before reading your last paragraph but suddenly I'm remembering that there's one specific situation when I tend to speak of my fanfics online on websites that are not at all about writing: oddly enough, in the chat of some streams! I never broach the topic out of nowhere but I am regularly on streams where people are either talking about a fandom I wrote for (often art streams doing fanart) or just randomly mentioning a trope or story beat, and I often go "well, I did write about that" x') Sometimes people want to know more and generally I just give the link if the streamer allows it, but it's fun that of all types of websites out there it's streaming sites that get me to mention my writing Oo
It's super sweet that you beta your husband's works! Sounds like a dream team =)
