A few bad actors who...? Don't remember any Nazi flags, harassing homeless shelter employees, or attacking priests for wearing masks., nor do I recall any BLM protesters trying to force a man who was Asian to 'dragon dance', before beating him with objects when he refused.

The message that shouldn't be destroyed is basically "hold your government accountable, and do not let them overstep". Too many of these politicians get away with everything, and it feels like infighting is all we're left with. At the very least I think this is something we can agree on.
And while I agree with that statement, I would like to ask how the convoy approached that in any way. They didn't attack any of the provincial leaders who were at issue with most of their (non US-required) laws.
Attacking homeless shelters doesn't send this message. Carrying Nazi flags doesn't send this message. Carrying Confederate Flags doesn't send this message Attacking people for wearing a mask, which according to the convoy messaging is body autonomy, and counter to their stated goals, doesn't send this message. Urinating on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier doesn't send this message. Dancing on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier doesn't send this message. Trying to force a man to 'Do a dragon dance' because he's Asian doesn't send this message. Threatening to murder the Prime Minister for an American Law doesn't send this message. Harassing and attacking citizens of Ottawa doesn't send this message. Desecrating the Terry Fox Memorial doesn't send this message.

It's either been returned to donators (those rich white supremacists from the States being most of it) or held in Escrow until the, you know, civil court cases of the people of Ottawa against them for their totally non-violent protest. (I can save you a bit of searching, but rich white supremacists are behind most of it. You let protestors, protest. Especially when it's not violent. The only injuries sustained in this protest were given to an old lady vs a police horse. You can't just throw the money on the street - someone has to organize it.

Anyway. I’m not in favor of people protesting to end my right to exist in a country, or dividing a country so they can have a place for “real Canadians”. That should be illegal, because once protests get enough momentum they can enact laws to enshrine their ethnostate.

Willful ignorance exists heavily on both sides too. There was some willful ignorance about how effective the covid vaccine was when the government started mandating it everywhere they could.
Now that a huge portion of our population received the never-used-before (and rushed) vaccine, we know it's not that effective. Hopefully this story ends here. The fact that this became very political should've been a huge red flag to everyone.

If we'd stop with this tribalistic bullshit we could hold our governments more accountable and have them be more transparent. But we're a divided mess - we won't be able to do anything good until we find our middle ground.

You put "effectiveness" in quotes because you have come to believe the vaccines aren't effective. You pump "natural immunity" because your information sources told you the vaccines are dangerous, while ignoring that the health risks of getting that natural immunity is way higher without a vaccine than with.
Letting the virus burn through the population to acquire immunity is how we get Spanish Flu numbers. It’s inhumane and dangerous to the fabric of society. Catching covid after vaccination is the far superior option.
