One of the bakeries that Israel bombed in Nuseirat refugee camp had just received a shipment of flour from UNRWA meant to cover the food needs of the entire camp. Israel waited to bomb it once all the flour was unloaded.

Over the however many years of the Donbass conflicts and the Russia-Ukraine war, less children died than in a few weeks of bombings by Israel. Russia has oriented their invasion primarily towards regions that are ethnically Russian. Israel has oriented their invasion primarily towards regions that are ethnically Palestinian Arabs. Today, the civilian death toll in Gaza (~7000) after less than three weeks of fighting is approaching that in the Russian War in Ukraine (~9500) after almost two years and already exceeds that of the Ukrainian War in Donbass (~3500) after 7 years of fighting.

The Russia-Ukraine war is a war, and it reflects in how it's been conducted. No single strike throughout either war caused 500+ civilian casualties. Neither side has tried to level the others' cities entirely (though both sides have struck civilian targets and used disproportionate force). Neither side has sought the eradication of the others' peoples. Both sides are, to a significant degree, similarly equipped and armed. Both sides could enter into peace negotiations at any time and those peace negotiations won't involve the complete removal of either people from their country. The closest comparable is maybe Ukraine on Donbass, but the same still holds: neither side came even close to the level of disregard for human life that the IDF is exhibiting.

Israel isn't Russia-lite, Israel is worse. They're not even close to comparable.

While I agree with the spirit of your post, I think you've missed a lot of what has been going on in Ukraine. Ukrainians aren't just fighting for their land -- like Palatine they are fighting for the survival of their whole people. Russia's goal is to completely wipe out Ukrainians and put their own people in place. Each of the regions of Ukraine that are claimed to be populated by a great extent with Russian citizens is only that way because Russia literally came in, kidnapped and removed rightful citizens, and replaced them with Russian citizens. Those "votes" like you hear about in Crimea where the results were narrowly to remain as part of Ukraine? That was because so many Ukrainian citizens went missing around 2014 (or probably earlier). Any attempt in a "peace treaty" with Russia means you die and Russians take your land. You might also want to take a look at their history, where Russia told Ukraine if they gave up their nukes, they could be their own country and Russia would let them be... how did that work out?

Russia absolutely has destroyed entire cities in Ukraine. There are several examples of once-thriving cities that are now smoking craters of rubble, and then told their own citizens how those cities were "liberated". This is what all of Ukraine expects to happen to them if they stop fighting.

As far as honoring human life -- have you been living under a rock? Do you not know what Russian soldiers have been doing to Ukrainian citizens?

Sorry, Israel may be close, but they haven't surpassed Russia's crimes. If anything it might be a close race, until you factor in all the other countries that Russia has given similar treatment to and the number of centuries they have been doing this.

I didn't bother reading after that sentence.
Just fyi, No Palestine isn't just fighting for land, they are fighting for their existence (which has been slowly getting eradicated) and freedom of their people from the inhumane brutality of the occupiers.
