code --disable-gpu.If that works, you can update the desktop shortcut files (exec section) with the same added parameter.

First, thank you! Sadly, this didn't help. In ended up deleting (renaming)
~/.config/Codewhich helped. Luckily enough all the plugins survived because they are installed under~/.vscodeThat's interesting. I am on GNOME/Wayland and the above flag helped.
