Google translate is giving me "If kept silence stayed philosopher."
Colloquially it means "If you'd kept your mouth shut, we might've thought you were clever."
It's my favourite Latin phrase, and not directed at you btw. :)
Literally, "If you-would-stay-silent, a-philsopher you-would-remain".
