The protesters also lit off flares, according to Sky News Australia

Angry pro-Palestine protesters marched to the Sydney Opera House on Monday and appeared to chant "gas the Jews" and "f--- the Jews," according to an Australian media report.

The protesters also lit off flares, according to Sky News Australia.

A video of part of the protest, which began peacefully earlier in the day, was posted to X -- formerly known as Twitter -- by the Australian Jewish Association.

it's really hard to have sympathy for Palestine when these are their cheerleaders

It’s easy to have sympathy for Palestine; it’s very difficult to have sympathy for Hamas.

Anyone cheering on Hamas is promoting crimes against humanity which is objectively abhorrent. Anyone who cares for the Palestinian people caught up in the conflict just has functioning empathy.

When people talk about this conflict they always forgot the normal people, they tend to get lumped together with the devil. The war is about barbarian vs thief, and normal people who just want to live in peace are the one suffered.

Didn’t the “normal people” vote for Hamas or am I remembering it wrong?

"normal people" also vote for Netanyahu and he go ahead bombing people for decade. Does that mean the death caused by Hamas is justified?

Very few of the protesters were saying anything antisemitic and the other protesters did their best to shut them down. This is no better than people saying BLM was just looting and burning down stores.

I guess so if you walk around with a myopic world view. Guess what? There's more than just two homogeneous sides to almost every issue.

You are talking about an area of the world that is almost 50% children, based on the words of people who have likely never even been there.
