How is „economy“ measured here? Because this is not simply the relative GDP change as one might expect.

Found it out myself. Your values are the ones adjusted for inflation. Weirdly, this is not mentioned in the article you linked.

Yeah, no one uses nominal GDP unless it's comparing something else affected by inflation like debt
