Do you still take the "standard" route? (sopuli.xyz)

I'm not too deep into noita myself, but I know a lot from watching furyforged. Do you still just take the route down to kolmi, beat his ass and win or do secret stuff every run?

I often do the normal path and when i reach the boss if i have good digging i'll go back up. But i do that less and less these days since i would like to get the 4 achievements i'm missing and i'll need to learn to play the game differently to get them.
