My brother in Christ, I can assure that at my age, alcohol is only going to enhance the suffering pretty much immediately. Reality sucks butt, but reality plus middle-aged hangover is an express ticket to hell.

Yes. I drink a beer and I'm hungover for 2 weeks. No shit.

Edit: I hit it hard in my younger years, probably ruined my liver beyond the point of healing itself.
