Is there a specific route or trail you want to hit up this summer? A distance or fitness goal of some sort? Planning a bicycle tour? Bikepacking?

Please share, I'm curious to see what all of you are getting up to for this summer!

As far as I know it is Not allowed here in germany, but in my early twenties I had good luck just asking a local farmer if I may put my tent up on theire property, 90% seid yes.

Also if you are not bothering anyone and clean up after yourself most of the time people dont bother you

It's not exactly allowed in Canada either, at least the places I've done it. It's legal on some crown land, but I've mostly done either little wooded areas just off the side of the road or low-traffic cemeteries. I'm in a pretty rural area though, so it's easy to get away with. I've never had the guts to ask anyone to sleep on their land, but I always keep it in the back of my mind as a last resort.

Agreed that being respectful of others and the land goes a long way, a burnt out cyclist minding their own business and just trying to get some food and sleep doesn't usually arouse too much suspicion.
