Late Tuesday, the U.S. vehemently denied the idea that it has been reluctant to speak publicly on Canada's behalf amid allegations by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that the Indian government participated in the extrajudicial killing of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil.

This was after a report in the Washington Post said Ottawa had tried and failed for weeks to get its allies to publicly condemn the murder.

My issue is foreigners assassinating people in Canada. I don't give a shit what this guy may be accused of, we have laws in this country and if you have evidence of crime bring it to Canadian authorities and they deal with it. Foreign governments don't get to decide guilt and punishment here. It's a major provocation.

I ultimately agree but I am deeply conflicted on the matter. I have a problem with the importation of geopolitical issues and players we have zero stake in leading to harm Canadians who did not ask or deserve any of it. And it never seems to affect the elite among us, the little people are always asked to suffer in their stead and on the altars of political correctness and cosmopolitanism.

It's definitely a case of foreign interference, we have a justice system and diplomatic relations to deal with this.

Right now the message that India sent is that it thinks Canada is unable to deal with its own affairs and humiliated them on the international scene, which is a big deal in diplomatic relations.

Having to assassinate people in other countries because you have not been able to quell minority unrest in your own country does not exactly put you in a position to criticize they way other countries manage there own affairs.

If Canada believes India was complicit in this crime, a good way to show that they can handle their shit is to to gather the evidence, present it to the global community, and hold India accountable.
