What weapon loadouts do you find most effective on your ships? (lemm.ee)

I have a combination of cyclotron ballista and rocket launcher on my fighter. It's fun, but the rocket launcher doesn't always kill enemies in one shot when the shields are down. Bummer :-) What do you use for that overwhelming sense of power in space?

Upgraded Infra-Knife for the general purpose magic smoke maker; upgraded phase beam to top off the shields for free when things get extra hot.
