This post is still not showing in active or top in sh.itjust.works sadly. You can see it in the topX sorting though. Tried playing with languages and urls, but it seems to not be there. Perhaps @8ohighdef@sh.itjust.works will cross-post for visibility

Figured it out!

Using the same URL causes the sort algorithm to remove it. I've added a query parameter of ?bust=true and it now works! Score. Will update my bug report with the work around: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3894
