We pay kids less than adults because I’m guessing kids are more prone to mistakes, need more training, and are capable of less.
We give kids less money because companies exploid them. Kids don't know their rights and adulds are telling them their not worthy of something like human rights. In most countries childlabor is illegal cause companies will abuse every person that can't defent themself.
Mistakes are part of a normal human being but work tells us we need to fit, so the big tech giant don't lose dome of their money.
Christ, get off your wank horse. In Australia (which is not in America if you check your map) kids can legally work here from 14.75 years and they earn increasing wages each year until they are 18, where they receive adult wages.
It’s not unfair or exploitation, as kids that age enter into low responsibility or apprentice roles and we have laws protecting their hours and employment once they reach adulthood so they can’t be replaced with younger kids. I did it it and all my mates did it, and were grateful to gain employment.
It’s an incentivised system to ensure youth gain employment and work experience before finishing school which bolsters their resume.
The principle of minimum wage is that no matter what work you do you're guaranteed to make that as a minimum. If kids weren't there to do these tasks because they weren't allowed to work, then older people paid at least the minimum wage would be doing them. I can also guarantee you that there are adults getting paid a lot more to do a lot less than these kids are, so your "low responsibility and apprentice role" excuse is just crap.
You're defending the system exploiting kids, I hope you realise that.

Look up the definition of child labour. You’re arguing a point you don’t even understand.
It is child labour IF:
• The child is under the age of 11.
• It deprives the child of their childhood.
• It interferes with education of ability to attend school.
• It causes moral, physical, or emotional harm.
None of these things are breached by any country adhering to the child labour treaty applied by the U.N, which SANCTIONS children working before they are adults but no younger than 11.
