Cracked Barotrauma multiplayer problems (steam) (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

So I downloaded barotrauma from SteamRip website and used the auto steam fix tool by ManiacKnight. I open steam overlay (shift + tab) and it shows that I'm playing barotrauma, but on the game this error shows up ( attached image ). I cant see multiplayer servers and host them. Any idea how to fix this?

I don't expect you to be able to do that. Steam use a central auth system, and that's actually the purpose of steam protection (as a way to avoid ban evasion). I'm worried there is nothing you could do about that aside of buying the game.

(or joining a non-protected server)
