Greenan Castle is a 16th-century ruined tower house, southwest of Ayr in South Ayrshire, Scotland. Situated at the top of a sea cliff, it was originally a promontory fort converted into a motte-and-bailey in the 12th century. In the 15th century a tower house was built by the Lords of the Isles.

Quoting Sean Connery in the Highlander, this looks almost exactly like the tower they were fighting in when he said it.

Don't see mention of it in any Google results for filming locations, but I'd bet decent money they filmed a scene or two here :)

Haha, it does look like that tower. I even saw The Highlander again pretty recently, but that's still a pretty deep cut.
