I want to leave Windows because regular W10 and W11 are trash.

You are really going to like Linux Mint Cinnamon then. It's basically Windows but isn't annoying or hates it's users

In my experience it's also faster - at least compared to my work laptop's W11 (upgrading was a mistake)
