I'll give the title the benefit of the doubt and say maybe it's not meant to imply she isn't an adult but instead that many of the older generations, as opposed to younger, are the ones assuming she isn't courageous.

There's a world of difference between a twenty year old and a fifty year old
Are you trying to dismiss her achievements, or are you stupid?
Why so aggressive man? She is a young adult, it's not insulting or demeaning, it's just reality.
Stop infantilizing this woman. She is not a child. Her accomplishments don't matter less because she has grown up. What the fuck is wrong with you?
