We definitely haven't invented vison correction that is flawless, but we have made a lot of progress in improving the material conditions of those suffering from visual challenges.
But nah, y'all are stuck in the 500s mentality "PeOPle WiTh NeAR ViSIOn SHoUlD JuSt bE CRAftsMeN" which isn't exactly wrong on an individual level, sure, but it's an incredibly myopic way of addressing the situation from a class perspective. You should broaden your vision.
