I know not ALL black people are violent. The issue is I don't know WHICH black people are violent.

That’s true of people in general. Given that the strength differential between races is negligible in comparison to that between genders, there’s no reason for someone to view any race as more dangerous or threatening than any other.

Whereas I also don’t know which women walking down the street are violent, but that doesn’t matter as much to me, because they can’t generally beat me to death bare-handed.

Comments like this show that Lemmy has a 2012 era Reddit level misogyny problem.

Imagine degrading the real lived experiences of women by comparing those women to racists.

On top the race analogy doesn’t even make sense. Women are worried about which men because the biological differences in strength and muscle mass is immense. The average man can easily physically overpower the average woman.

There isn’t any particular “racial” “advantage” that would cause men of one ethnicity to inherently fear another ethnicity. Unless one of those men is really into physical fitness, two men of different ethnic backgrounds will be roughly equal in physical capability.

The only cause of such racial “concern” is prejudice and ignorance. No excuse.

We get it. You're in the meme and you don't like it.

I know not ALL men are incapable of understanding the nuances of social issues. The issue is THEY are too weak minded that they can't see past their hurt fee-fees and actually understand what the problem is.

Seriously, this is middle school level understanding, and you're failing.

Be better.

Every damned time.

Push that false equivalence back up the orifice you pulled it from.

The problem is that it's not all men, but it's somehow always a man

Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.
