ffmpegand not having to install another tool for a single task.I do not edit videos, I just record with
obs-studioand cut out unneeded parts.ffmpegdoes that, it does so fast and without any problems + it also works for converting videos to another codec.FFMPEG is nice when you do something like
ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vcodec copy -acodec copy -ss 00:01:00 -t 00:03:00 out.mp4and the result is almost instant as there's no re-encoding.
