[SOLVED] KDE, dolphin, "selecting" file with RMB in empty space?
(media.piefed.social)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

these are my view settings, not sure where to change to list view
also found this:
so it is a special setting to open files anywhere... not looking good for RMB (but it explains why it is different from LMB)
The view mode, but never mind you found the option for this behaviour
there's no list option for me...
I guess they are thinking about the 'Compact' option
Yeah I was thinking it would shrink the clickable area.
I haven't used dolphin in forever though, I'm probably past being helpful
compact just gets rid of the empty space
