It sounds like you think the Left has a giant majority.
Mamdani ran as a 'democratic socialist' and barely got 51% of the vote in the Bluest city in america. He was running against a scandal ridden Centrist and a Mid-Right shock jock.
Harris got 65% of the vote. Mamdani did worse in both actual numbers of votes and percentages.
