What game did you hate even after sinking a lot of time into it?

My goal is just to have a community where people can go and see what new game news is out for the day and comment on it.
Other communities:
Archwing got a lot better a few years back. It used to be horrid.
Personally for me, I don't play anymore because it's not remotely the same as when I started. Back in 2016, crowd control was one of the main builds, and if you wanted to do a good relic run you actually needed to have team balance.
Then when they added Mesa and later Nidas, two frames that are able to kill a lot of enemies quickly, the meta switched over to them and each mission turned into a race to see who could kill everything first.
Personally, I prefer crowd control and support roles in the rare times I play multiplayer games. I loved playing Nyx in Warframe. But when I started getting rude comments for playing her (despite often getting the most kills anyways) that's when I called it quits.
It doesn't help that I'm not a fan of the open-world bits. It just feels empty and boring and static. At least with regular missions you'd get variety in map layouts, but DE decided to go all in on the open world
