What game did you hate even after sinking a lot of time into it?

My goal is just to have a community where people can go and see what new game news is out for the day and comment on it.
Other communities:
Cyberpunk 2077. The game seems so perfect for me, but after 4 hours, dropping it, trying again for 4 hours, it just wouldn't stick.
I do wonder if it was 3rd person if I'd enjoy it more. I tend to love visual environments, and I think the first-person perspective hurts the game (for me).
I had a really hard time with the interface. Kept accidentally hitting attack buttons (particularly, that grenade trigger) when I was trying to socially interact. Failing missions because you tickled the wrong button and got the entire screen filled with angry cops really was not my style.
I just rebound the grenade button from middle mouse to a side mouse button. Middle mouse is a dumb default bind for anything.
I think it would make an awesome MMO.
I might have camera modded it to 3rd person. I really had a blast beating it and they keep making it better
I've only seen a VR mod. What 3rd person mod did you use?
Not the OP, but I've dabbled around with this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/669
As far as I know it's the most (only?) developed third person mod for Cyberpunk.
My opinion is it's definitely a mod alright... Not that I think it's the author's fault. It's very clear that your character is using animations built for a first person rig, so you'll be missing a lot of movement from the shoulders to the hips. They tried to make a standard over the shoulder view, but it's locked to the first person camera position without any easing/acceleration, which is super jaring for me.
There do seem to be some related QoL/improvement mods around that might be worth exploring, but I haven't looked into them.
TL; DR: Overall the camera experience was too stiff for it to become my default, but I do occasionally toggle it on while walking from point A to B.
