You're arguing that the Metropolitan police shouldn't investigate creditable reports of crimes committed by people, when those people are British and, per the article, the Met has a dedicated team for that kind of crime? What do you think police are for in the UK? Why do you mention Americans?

Sorry do the international courts not have their own investigators? I kind of assumed they did.

I'm not opposed, but given the met's general orientation this just seems like an excuse to not extradite.
