Yeah and even with the development hell it went through, the final product was still a fun game, and one of the best performing ue5 games to date even. It's just not good at being dragon age. Like, the violent brutal brotherhood of assassins that literally abduct children and torture them either till they die or become assassins themselves and keep an entire city in line through fear of death, they're just portrayed as a bunch of lovable rogues! Like half the kids they abduct die in training. It's ridiculous.
It started as a live-service game (cause Anthem was such a success for EA), so they had to file all the edges for mass marketability.
