MODERATORS
It is a little sad from the cultural perspective of a non-WASP, my comfort foods that complete me are all ethnic foods grandma made and passed down. No jello to be found, just hearty, working-class meals :)
Not a WASP but white with “ethnic” white heritage, and same.
I make a few of my grandma’s recipes every single holiday season because it’s just not right without them.
Hell, even my grandpa could cook when he felt like it lol, though I don’t think I can ever properly recreate his squid sauce.
Man, now I miss waking up as a kid to the smell of grandpa's French Toast, perfectly fluffy with butter and powder sugar :')
