Maybe this is from growing up in a place with seasons, but 30C to 30F is a comfortable temperature range and I would be quite pleased to live in a place where those are the extremes.

When I was young it was between -5 and +25C max. Now it's -10 and 42C max. And yet still there are people who say climate change isn't real.

Oh and it's humid AF, 42C feels like 48C. I prefer 35 dry heat over 25 humid.

30C is normal but slightly annoying, 30F sucks.

It was 40C yesterday. Supposed to be 36C today. I think a couple of days in Feburary got down to -26C.

Canada?

It was 32C yesterday. Our winters will certainly get far below 32F. Well into the negatives in fact.

I was outside in -39C in Ontario in February and now places in the same area are recording 36C in this heatwave.

That's not that unusual. In the Midwest it can go from 0f in the winter to 100f in the summer, which is beyond this range anyway. 30c is about 86f which is nice weather to me. I wish we only peaked at 30c. So yeah, 30f to 30c would be just dandy

Just imagine it. A few days a year where it's cold enough for ice/snow, long enough to enjoy the novelty, and since it's just a few days nobody is prepared for it so society shuts down. Then in the summers sustained highs in the 80s. Heavenly.

I grew up in the American Midwest. Average Jan low 17F, Average July high 89F (-8C to 31C). Those are averages, with plenty of days well outside that range especially on the cold end. Summer were not too bad. Now I live in hell and it gets over 35C every day for months on end and it's a wet miserable heat.

Sounds about right for e.g. Germany ~15 years ago. Does this range seem odd to you because it is too wide or too narrow?
