Fascists gonna fascist. Locally to me a city council voted against flock cameras, the mayor declared a state of emergency and signed the contract and had them installed anyway.
The idea that the city would give private citizens information to a third party that they have no control over the use of the data is ridiculous.
Flock self reports they have a 1% false positive reporting rate which sounds great, but even with their own numbers of over a billion scans a month is still an error rate of 10,000,000 incorrect reports to law enforcement.
We already have them. They put them up last year without telling anyone. People found out and we're pissed. Thats what this meeting is about....
