I have a convection toaster oven which is fine, but it heats up my kitchen because it's less insulated than my oven and not right under the vent fan.
My question about air fryers is, how are they on making plain toast? Also can I turn off the fan to bake ?
No and no. Unless you want to start a fire, then yes.
