MODERATORS
Its widely considered as the standard metric for general intelligence.
That's not to say it is perfect or doesnt have gaps, it doesn't assess creativity, EQ, rational thinking, wisdom or impacts from socioeconomic.
However what is does measure are things like abstract reasoning, pattern recognition, working memory.
Its one of the strongest single predictors of academic performance, job complexity learning, and overall occupational success, and those things pretty obviously correlated with general intelligence.
