With global warming can't we compensate for the diminished radiation? What's the probability for Sahara to go green again during the next century?
There is/was an effort to create a Great Green Wall on the southern side of the Sahara to re-green a 15km-wide band of land all across the continent. It's run into funding, civil unrest and political leadership challenges
Lesson learned: it technically somewhat works.
