This is a Lemmy Community for perchance.org, a platform for sharing and creating random text generators.
Feel free to ask for help, share your generators, and start friendly discussions at your leisure :)
This community is mainly for discussions between those who are building generators. For discussions about using generators, especially the popular AI ones, the community-led Casual Perchance forum is likely a more appropriate venue.

5. Refrain from requesting Prompts for the AI Tools.
- We would like to ask to refrain from posting here needing help specifically with prompting/achieving certain results with the AI plugins (
text-to-image-pluginandai-text-plugin) e.g. "What is the good prompt for X?", "How to achieve X with Y generator?" - See Perchance AI FAQ for FAQ about the AI tools.
- You can ask for help with prompting at the 'sister' community Casual Perchance, which is for more casual discussions.
- We will still be helping/answering questions about the plugins as long as it is related to building generators with them.

MODERATORS
This platform allows users to generate pornographic content. Including for “underage users.” I hope everyone understands that the notice saying “you can only generate pornographic content if you give your word of honor that you’re 18 or older” is just a flimsy cover‑up. If a user visits a porn site (among other places), it’s only natural that they’ll see vulgar comments there.
As for your complaints — the site is basically being kept afloat by a single person. He’s also busy with work that brings in the money to fund the platform. He simply doesn’t have time to filter comments, he just doesn’t. Be grateful that the guy keeps the whole thing running at all.
Let’s just slap up a big sign that says “Adult site: leave if you’re under 18,” and that’s it. Of course, no one will actually leave, but at least formally, the responsibility will be offloaded.
He has posted this like at least two times already or perhaps more, the Dev rightfully is ignoring him, I would too. He claimed in one post that the website has no moderation at all and when I mentioned that people get IP banned and reported he tried to come up with excuses as to how that did not count as moderation.

You would ignore a complaint about a ring of distribution regarding illegal materials, and you fail to review my points, and you also are yet to address the inherent flaws with the “moderation” system
No, the issue isn’t pornographic material being spread to children, though that is absolutely a valid issue
The issue is, people are distributing actual child sexually exploitative materials in the chatroom itself
