People where I live have opinions about things that when you write on Lemmy and Reddit get accused you of being a Russian bot or trying to influence never ending USAmerican elections as if they (USAmericans) live in a democracy and meme posts to a niche international community of open source software with around 40k active users matters.
Hard disagree. One post can spark a thought process in the right person at the right place. I've seen this enough, not only on Lemmy.
