I think its that all sports are ultimately inconsequential entertainment people get way too serious about.

Unlike war profiteering, which is a very important contribution.

People should be proud of how many children the can kill directly and indirectly through military action, proxy wars, and allocation of lifesaving funds to the military industrial complex.

Wow, talk about non sequitur. Yes, war profiteering is far more consequential than sports. No shit.

They're not children's games, because we have entire professional leagues of adults being paid to play.

I'm not even a sports fan, I just don't purposely avoid trying to understand things so I can feel superior to people who do.
