More bad advice from AI
(orchidfiles.com)
"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"
A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.
AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.
What exactly is your point? Yes, putting parts of your posts here would be a terrible practice, but so would be fully posting the article. We are on a website that's usually called a link aggregator, we came here to find cool links to click. Not to say that posting your texts themselves would give you a terrible headache if you spot a mistake in your post and want to edit it out.
But looking at two posts you made, you understand this concept, either posting just the link or providing a short synopsis.
So, I'm kind of confused.
My post wasn't about this site or other sites where it's common to submit links. My post was about Medium, Reddit, Devto, and other platforms where it's customary to post articles, not links or article previews.
Reddit is more or less the same, no? I haven't heard about the other ones, though.
