Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:

- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
That's all the rules!

So it doesn’t matter?
Where did I say it doesn't matter?
You're complaining that people don't know about something that happened 30 years ago, at a time when they were likely very young or didnt even exist.
Not knowing about every single terrible thing that has ever happened on a particular subject doesn't mean you don't care about it.
Without googling I bet you wouldn't know a thing about Holly Chapman and Jessica Wells in the UK, a double murder that happened over 20 years ago.
Or who Dawn Sturgess was.
Both pretty big here, the double murder led to significant changes in the law and procedures for data sharing across the UK.
The difference between us is, you not knowing about it doesnt lead me to the insane conclusion that its because you just don't care about the subject.
Either you agree that this man’s massacre was a tragedy, or you don’t. As far as I can tell, you are arguing very hard in favor of it, and that, simply because some people were not born before 1998, his death has no meaning. That is the message I am very clearly receiving from you.
I don’t know what’s wrong with you, but I’ve heard enough. I’m just gonna block you now.
So you're admitting the horrific double murder of two 11 year old girls doesn't matter?
You didnt know about them so obviously by your logic that means you don't believe they were a tragedy.
But yes, obviously you're incapable of understanding.
I did not know about this man's death.
Now I do know, I agree it was a tragedy.
You seem to believe me not knowing about something that happened in a foreign country when I was 15 years old means I wouldn't agree that it was a tragedy.
I'm old enough to maybe have known about this. But I didn't. Had absolutely no clue. The other person's responses indicate they are advocating for people like me. Ignorance of a travesty doesn't mean we are endorsing those atrocities. But clearly you expect clairvoyant level view that only matches what you already know. That's not reality. That's an unacceptable worldview that brings absolutely zero progress to stopping stupid shit like that. Go ahead and block the other user. But block me too please. I have no time for people who refuse to see that there is nuance in the world. My feed would be better of not dealing with self righteous assholes like yourself.
I never said any of these things, and obviously you are hallucinating for attention.
Of course I’m blocking you
