Funny story about temporary rental equipment.

My old company, big (as in billions $$) defence control actor. They refused to buy permanent sites, instead they would lease or rent buildings or structures. Sea cans counted as structures. They rented 3 sea cans for 15 years. Spent almost 100k each over that period. Never once did they accept the financial argument that one years lease would almost buy a sea can outright.

Probably the only consideration is what is cheapest for the current quarter.
