Editor's note: Original showrunner Beau DeMayo was fired by Disney before the premiere of the first season and had announced they would remove his name from writing credits from the second season after an internal investigation and "the egregious nature of the findings..." without going into specifics. However, as of this trailer's release, DeMayo's name is included in the published credits as both executive producer and writer on the show's second season.

I think the published credits they are referring to are here on a marvel.com press release that went out today, in case anyone else was wondering what the source was.

Very interesting. I guess enough people raised hell about DeMayo getting fired for Disney to bring him back?

Disney never went into specifics on the reasons why they sent DeMayo packing, though words were published about him having an OnlyFans account (as a viewer?). My purely speculative guess is that they scared up some horny-on-main posts from him, but I have no evidence of that.

Maybe Disney looked into the search histories of everybody who worked on the Zootopia movies and decided DeMayo’s transgressions weren’t so bad. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is a community for posting and sharing trailers and teasers for upcoming film, television and video game premieres. The goal is to provide subscribers a curated feed of trailers for UPCOMING media. General-purpose posts about movies, television and games are better suited for other communities around the Lemmyverse. This place is just for trailers.

Rules

  1. All posts must be trailers or teasers; not full movies, not trailers for trailers, and not clips of popular scenes. Meta posts from mod staff are OK, but should be kept to a minimum.
  2. No fan-made trailers or remixes.
  3. Trailers for upcoming content only and not reposts. Do not spam the community with trailers for media that has already been released or by reposting the same media multiple times.
  4. Link to official channels for trailers whenever possible (ie: the YouTube accounts of each film's studio or distribution company); avoid linking to videos from media outlets that function as aggregators / re-posters if you can.
  5. Post titles should follow formatting guidelines: "Media Name (release year, relevant creator credit)". Creator credits should be directors for films and games, showrunners for television series. Other details such as starring actors, writers, production studios, etc can be added to the post description.
  6. Don't be a jerk.
