And that's bad because...? Surely you don't blame the individual for this?
I didn't say it was bad. Not did I cast blame. Two giant leaps there.
Gross as in, you're changing the face that someone is presenting to the world, because you think you know better than they do how they should present themselves.
Who is better suited to know how someone can better present themselves than those having the experience of being presented to?
Maybe that doesn't help you at work, or competing with the other girls, or manipulating people, or avoiding being gossiped about, or managing your self-hatred over how you naturally look.
But it still might be true for the person changing the presentation to better appeal to their preferences.
