I saw this ad too.
As far as I know, I have all that crap disabled, and yet Mozilla shoved this ad up my ass.
Did I miss anything? What do I need to disable?
Settings -> Homepage -> Turn off "World Cup"
Thanks. There was indeed a new setting there and it was enabled by default.
