any game suggestions for the master system and genesis (self.retrogaming)

i want to get more into the sega consoles with not only the sonic games ive already played in a few master system games like alex kidd however i am not familiar much with the SMS and almost totally blind about the genesis apart for the sonic games disney games any suggestion for games for those systems?

Don't know many of either consoles sadly, but as for the ones I do, the ones I'd recommend:

Tanglewood (Mega Drive homebrew; comes with a ROM)
Wonder Boy in Monster World (used to be on Steam as a Mega Drive ROM; now maybe only physical or console port)
Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (all PC versions appear to come with a Master System ROM)
