It took me a long time to fight my negative self talk. Someone once told me I would never say any of the things that I say to myself to anyone else. And it made me realize they were right. I would never talk that way to anyone, so why am I using such harsh comments to myself??

Funny that's pretty much exactly what I discussed in therapy last week lol. I'm sure being your harshest critic is something that many or most struggle with. Thanks for the reminder to be intentional about speaking self-love <3

That's been a big one for me as well. Extreme negativity (actually more than that, extreme cruelty) towards myself, I'm a way I would never feel towards anyone else.

Transitioning has massively improved that though.
