How does translate into making a comic about getting a DM?
I'm not seeing it, I got 3 replies to my comment but didn't consider turning it into a comic. I think if I did then people would also react with a "who cares?" shrug.
Your lack of creativity isn't anyone elses problem mate. The comic creator opted to make art from conflict, and did so in a way that resonances with people, just not with you.
The fact that it doesnt work for you is fine, but also doesnt merit critizism. A 4 panel web comic not blowing you away with the plotting and story it wasent trying to have is not some stunning insight.
