It's great we have access to our posters in lemmygrad but it sucks to have to be on the defensive now because some chauvanist is in pain from being exposed to liberal political heresy.
the emphasis on being polite is so we dont get defederated. when we show up in someone’s home instance we should focus on educating and persuading, which is a lot less effective when being rude/snarky. most of our users voted for federation, so acting in ways that could get us defederated isnt fair to other users
not saying ur guilty of this, i just want to state this message as much as possible
