Oof someone's triggered. But it's definitely not a cult. Nope.

Why don't you go dono 500 subs to Hassan. I hear Bezos needs a new yacht. Also, the oil changes on Hassan Porsche aren't cheap. Lmao

Their (stupid) argument is that helping Hasan through twitch makes bezos wealthier. We're not allowed to make money or engage in anything owned by big capitalists even if there's no alternative or we're just helping the enemy. We should just will an independent economy into existence.

You're more than welcome to get your bread as a Marxist leninist. Hassan is on a whole other level of exploitation. But again, you guys are in a cult. Now go cry to your little Twitch streamer boy. He might have some hot superficial rage bait today, is he on yet?

[-] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 5 points 2 weeks ago

Who exactly is he exploiting?

[-] TheFonz@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Hassan is on a whole level of opulence and capitalism spending. From jewelry to designer brands to his Porsche to million dollar Beverly hills home... I mean... Who ISN'T he exploiting haha

[-] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

"Owning things is exploitative" lol cope

[-] TheFonz@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Way to intentionally - it has to be at this stage - miss the point I made. Owning things is not bad. There is owning to live and then there's parading designer clothes and jewelry in front of destitute people in Havana while parading as a socialist. He's Alex Jones. A little more clever, but in the end he's just another Alex Jones. And you guys gobble it up.

[-] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

"Owning nice things is exploitative" jfc please read a book

[-] TheFonz@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

You're right. How can Hassan live and get to work without the Porsche. It's integral to his subsistence

[-] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

Not beating the poverty cult accusations

[-] orc_princess@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 weeks ago

I don't watch him, I just think avoiding platforms owned by billionaires is impossible for everyone and it makes no sense to judge him for that

[-] TheFonz@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

That's fair. But Hassan relishes in extreme opulence and luxury. The whole persona is a grift

[-] KimBongUn420@lemmy.ml 10 points 2 weeks ago

You're just coping that hes done more praxis and has better politics than you

[-] TheFonz@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

I don't need to cope because I don't make my living rage baiting and pumping for Jeff Bezos.

[-] deathmetaldawgy@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 weeks ago

do you mind me asking how u do make a living?

[-] TheFonz@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

I work as an independent contractor. But I don't relish in extreme opulence, frivolous designer brand products, while espousing to speak about socialism for the common man. It doesn't have to be all or nothing. Yes, we all participate in capitalism. No one compelled Hassan to buy a Porsche, or designer brand clothes. There's the necessity of participating in capitalism... Then there's Hassan and extreme opulence and decadence. The fact that you can't understand this distinction is all I need to know about Hassan followers

[-] deathmetaldawgy@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

As someone who makes less than 20k a year, why do you care so much about someone else’s opulence? Follow up, if you don’t like him, Why do you comment about Hasan in general? Does it really matter that much?

I feel the same way about some of my favorite musicians, rappers especially, but at the end of the day it doesn’t do shit for me to pay mind to Trent Reznors paychecks. I like the media that he provides for me, I listen to it for free and that’s that.

Same with Hasan. It’s just entertainment. Getting your panties in such a twist over rich YouTubers being libbed up isn’t entertaining to me so I chose to listen to the media I like. Same goes for any lefty podcaster, deprogram, brace Belsen, empanada. They arent revolutionaries, they’re podcasters. Entertainment, media, and I treat them as such.

Unlike Trent Reznor, Hassan lives as an opposition force to whatever the establishment represents. He actively spreads cynicism and voter apathy, because he is the equivalent of Alex Jones. He drives his influence from farming anger; in order to sustain that he cant redirect his efforts towards effective actions because that would undermine his revenue stream. Trent Reznor is a genius that makes art. Hassan is part of the movement that is walking people into detention centers.

I agree on the second to last sentence , you have to see how insane the last sentence sounds. And by voter apathy, do you mean channeling voters away from the DNC?
