MODERATORS
On 2001-09-12, Al-Qaeda and bin Laden became superfluous because the US and those aligned with them plagiarised their play book and implemented it as the Patriot Act and related societal debasements.
A healthy, well educated population which feels safe and secure is incompatible with, and toxic to, conservative and authoritarian ideologies.
They need you to be sick, stupid, and scared.
It's not their playbook. Their playbook is very different from that.
On that date, the US declared defeat and adopted the terms Al-Qaeda imposed on them.
They also were surprised at how successful their plan worked out. It shouldn't have been, but Bush got into office and opened the door.
