Responses that completely destroy the original argument in a way that leaves little to no room for reply - a targeted, well-placed response to another person, organization, or group of people.
The following things are not grounds for murder:
- Personal appearance ("You're fat", "You're ugly")
- Posts with little-to-no context
- Posts based on a grammar/spelling error
- Dick jokes, "Yo mama", "No, you" type responses and other low effort insults
- "Your values are bad" without any logcal or factual ways of showing that they are wrong ("I believe in capitalism" - "Well, then you must be evil" or "Fuck you you ignorant asshole")
Rules:
- Be civil and remember the human. No name calling or insults. Swearing in general is fine, but not to insult someone else.
- Discussion is encouraged but arguments are not. Don’t be aggressive and don’t argue for arguments sake.
- No bigotry of any kind.
- Censor the person info of anyone not in the public eye.
- If you break the rules you’ll get one warning before you’re banned.
- Enjoy the community in the light hearted way it’s intended.

Have we not got to the point where we all agree this kind of owning of the right is a pointless distraction that redirects energy away from countering power?
Thesis: owning the right does nothing
Antithesis: owning the right is fun
Synthesis: we need a very small group of very dedicated dunkers while everyone else does productive shit

This is a humorous community based on savage comebacks. While you’re welcome to discuss any topic in the comments, the majority of us are here for a chuckle, not political discourse. Plus we’re not all American. In the UK our “right wing” government is arguably* closer to your democrats than republicans.
*not my argument. And I’m not interested in arguing about any topic, particularly politics.
Just so you know, republicans and democrats and tories are all far more similar to each other than they are to the political views of even a moderate hexbear user.
We've got widely varied opinions on the best ways to dunk on people though. We tend to just bring them all and see what happens

I'm all for dunking on fash don't get me wrong, I'm talking about this specific "actually sir you are actually incorrect actually?"
brand of liberal dunk that has demonstrated itself to just be a tepid fart that completely misses the point that the right doesn't actually care about ideological consistency.
And I'm not sure what the UK political spectrum has to do with anything. I also don't live in the US, but Clay Higgins does.

People may find jokes unfunny (or just mediocre) for all sorts of reasons. Impotenly owning Republicans on twitter while they outlaw abortion and string razor wire across the Rio Grande has just run its course for a lot of people.
This is a sort of "whats the harm" thing for me.
As a fellow hexbear, i find this harmless at worst.
